For almost of our tours, once tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:
- More than 30 days before arrival: No charge
- 15-30 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
- 7-15 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
- 4-7 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
- Within 3 days before arrival: 100% tour price.
Notes:
- There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations.
- For no show cases, there will be no refund.

In case of an unexpected situation/ bad weather causes an effect on your trip after commencement, we serve the right to change the itinerary of your booked tour for the safety of all clients in the group. If there are more than one solution, we will ask for your permission and agreement to do the next step. In such kind of cancellation, the refund of any payment on the un-used portion of transportation service, hotel service, car rental or tours will be given.

Itineraries
- Day 1: Hanoi – Bai Tu Long Bay – Vung Vieng Fishing Village

07:30–08:00: An optional shuttle bus will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and transfer you to Halong Bay.
10:30: Stop over in Hai Duong City, where you can explore a selection of handmade Vietnamese handicraft products.
11:45: Arrive at Hon Gai Pier and proceed with boarding.
12:45: The Cruise Manager will give a welcome speech, providing information about the cruise and important safety instructions.
13:15: Enjoy lunch featuring the finest products from the bay.
14:45: Visit Vung Vieng Floating Fishing Village by kayak.
15:30–16:30: If you prefer to relax on board instead of participating in other activities, feel free to use the sauna at no extra cost.
17:00–18:30: Happy Hour: Buy one drink and get one free.
17:30: Join the cooking demonstration and discover the secrets of Vietnamese cuisine.
19:00: Enjoy a set-menu dinner on board.
21:00: Join the squid fishing activity or enjoy free time on board. The bar remains open late to serve you.

06:30: Early morning is the best time to admire Halong Bay. If you missed the opportunity yesterday, we recommend taking this last chance to enjoy the view. Tai Chi will be held again today on our upper deck, offering a wonderful way to connect with the peaceful surroundings.
07:00–07:30: A light breakfast will be served this morning.
07:30–08:30: Enjoy the final part of your trip with a visit to Thien Canh Son Cave and the surrounding islets, known for their wild and mysterious beauty in the heart of the World Heritage Site.
09:00–09:30: Check out of your cabin and enjoy a delicious brunch as we continue cruising back towards the harbor through the scenic bay.
10:30: Disembark from the cruise, board the shuttle minibus, and return to Hanoi.
16:00–16:30: Drop-off at your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter for guests who have booked a transfer.

We went on a 2 days 1 night cruise with Athena Cruise to Bai Tu Long Bay and it was outstanding! We had heard that Halong Bay was crowded so we opted for Bai Tu Long Bay which was fantastic and not at all busy. We really enjoyed the kayaking as we spent an hour paddling around the islands. The boat itself is fantastic and the food is so delicious. The staff are fantastic, they are so organised and nothing is a bother. They are very approachable and want you to make yourself at home. Highly recommend Athena to Cruise with.

We took the 1 night/2 day cruise option which was right for us. In real terms you're on board for 12 hrs and travelling there and back (from Hanoi) for 6 hours combined.Bags are taken from you on arrival at the cruise terminal and end up in your cabin.Cabins are lovely and luxurious. We even had a bath in ours!Our cruise manager Tim was first class and made sure we were kept busy in his engaging style. Tai Chi, massages, cooking lessons, trips to caves and tiny beach's, kyaking through the floating village, happy-hour!Great trip. Would recommend Athena.

It is not my first time on cruise but I can say this one is superb because of the hospitality of d Cruise Manager his crew. You can really feel his passion in the things he do and the crew members are all service oriented. The ship is quite new as such d amenities are in very good condition.It is well recommended

The trip was more than our expectation, we did think that the cruise we will come may be a small one, but We were surprise from the first minute when we got the luxury bus to Halong. Moreover we felt very safe. our trip much better with guiding information, demonstrating for cooking and made flowers from fruits. The manager went out his way to make sure all people on good mood. This cruise is a must, highly recommended Tim and his staff
