Arrive in Siem Reap by flight and discover the treasures of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Upon arrival, you will receive a warm welcome and meet your Cambodian tour guide at the designated meeting point in Siem Reap. After a brief introduction, transfer to your hotel for check-in.

In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner accompanied by an Apsara Dance performance at a local restaurant.

For travelers seeking Cambodia’s cultural highlights, no visit to the country is complete without attending at least one traditional Khmer dance performance. These performances are often referred to as “Apsara Dance,” after one of the most popular forms of classical dance. Traditional Khmer dance is perhaps best described as “dance-drama,” as the performances do more than showcase dance movements; they also convey stories and messages.

We begin our visit with Prasat Kravan, a complex of five brick towers built for Hindu worship in 921. The towers are notable for the bas-reliefs carved into the bricks on their interior walls.

Next, we visit Banteay Kdei, a massive Buddhist temple dating from the second half of the 12th century. It is surrounded by four concentric walls, with the outer walls measuring 500 by 700 meters. We then stop at Srah Srang, a basin opposite Banteay Kdei measuring 800 by 400 meters, with a small island in the middle where only the stone base of what was once a wooden temple remains.

We continue to Ta Prohm, famous for its appearance in Tomb Raider. Left to the elements, Ta Prohm serves as a reminder that while empires rise and fall, the untamed power of nature marches on, oblivious to the dramas of human history. Left largely as it was when it was “discovered” by French explorer Henri Mouhot in 1860, the temple features tentacle-like tree roots that are slowly strangling the surviving stone structures. It illustrates how humanity once conquered nature to create, only for nature to later reclaim what humans built.

We then move on to Ta Keo, built by Jayavarman V, who ruled from 968 to 1001. It was the first Angkorian monument built entirely of sandstone and was dedicated to Shiva. The summit of the central tower stands 50 meters high and is surrounded by four lower towers.

Next, we visit Thommanon, a temple that mirrors Chau Say Tevoda, located just to the north. Built around the same time, the two temples share a similar layout. Thommanon is dedicated to Shiva and Vishnu. Chau Say Tevoda, built during the second quarter of the 12th century opposite Thommanon, is also dedicated to Shiva and Vishnu.

We then travel farther into the countryside to visit the small but beautiful temple of Banteay Srei. Built largely of pink sandstone, a harder rock that allows for more elaborate carvings and better withstands the passage of time, the temple offers an excellent opportunity to capture photographs of its intricate and detailed carvings.

Our visit continues to Banteay Samre, where rose-colored sandstone walls are adorned with carvings and bas-reliefs that rank among the finest examples of Angkorian artistry.

After breakfast, we begin our visit to the ancient capital of Angkor Thom, dating back to the 12th century.

We start at the South Gate and visit Bayon Temple, famous for its 54 towers decorated with more than 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara. We then explore Baphuon Temple, located just north of Bayon, with its pyramidal structure representing the mythical Mount Meru.

Next, we visit Phimeanakas Temple, located within a large complex that once served as a royal palace. We then continue to the Elephant Terrace, a platform where the king and his officials watched events and held gatherings with the people.

We also visit Preah Palilay, an older temple located near Angkor Thom and hidden deep in the forest. Along the path back, you may see monks sprinkling holy water on people.

We continue to the famous Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992, renowned for its beauty and grandeur. Angkor Wat features the world's longest continuous bas-relief, which runs along the outer gallery walls and depicts stories from Hindu mythology.

Enjoy a one-hour foot massage, followed by a walk along the lively Pub Street, where you can find numerous bars offering refreshing drinks. You can also shop at Angkor Night Market.

After breakfast, depart from Siem Reap for Tonlé Sap Lake, driving along the eastern side of the lake. Upon arrival in Kompong Khleang, a remarkable village built entirely on stilts, take time to explore the local houses, school, and shops before boarding your private boat.

Cruise along a short tributary, passing fishermen and children playing in the shallow waters, before arriving at a typical floating village, where you may either disembark or continue cruising through the waterways.

Transfer to Siem Reap Airport for your departure to the next destination. Say goodbye to your Cambodian guide and driver. Goodbye, Cambodia!
