    For almost of our tours, once tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:

    • More than 45 days prior to trip departure: No charge (Full refund will be made but transaction fee will be paid by you).
    • 30-45 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
    • 15-29 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
    • 7-14 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
    • Within 7 days before arrival: 100% tour price.

    • The above fees are subject to an added bank transaction fee.
    • There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations.

    In case of an unexpected situation/ bad weather causes an effect on your trip after commencement, we serve the right to change the itinerary of your booked tour for the safety of all clients in the group. If there are more than one solution, we will ask for your permission and agreement to do the next step. In such kind of cancellation, the refund of any payment on the un-used portion of transportation service, hotel service, car rental or tours will be given.

Itineraries

Day 1: Hanoi - Ha Giang

Departs on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.

6:00–6:30 AM: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and depart for Ha Giang by bus.
Enjoy a short break along the way, with opportunities to take photos of the beautiful scenery.

12:30–1:00 PM: Have lunch in Ha Giang.

2:00 PM: Leave Ha Giang City for Quan Ba. Along the way, stop to take photos of the magnificent rice fields, mountains, and valleys.

3:30 PM: Stop at Heaven’s Gate to enjoy the fresh air and take in the panoramic views of Tam Son Town from above. Afterwards, continue to the countryside, where you will be warmly welcomed by local Tay families.

4:00 PM: Take some time to rest and freshen up before trekking around the village.

Discover the traditional rammed-earth houses of the Dao people, surrounded by beautiful terraced rice fields.

Then, enjoy a delicious dinner at a local homestay.

Day 2: Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Meo Vac – Ma Pi Leng – Dong Van

6:30–7:00 AM: Have breakfast, enjoy the fresh air and breathtaking views of the mountains, check out of the homestay, and get ready for the next experience as you continue your journey to Meo Vac.

After lunch in Meo Vac, continue to Dong Van and conquer Ma Pi Leng Pass. It is one of the most beautiful rocky mountain areas in Vietnam, with a unique landscape and spectacular scenery. You will have the chance to stand on the steep cliffs overlooking the Nho Que River, which flows from China through Vietnam for approximately 46 km.

After that, trek through the small villages where Hmong people live and experience the extraordinary mountainous landscapes. You will enjoy incredible views of the Happiness Road below.

4:30 PM: Check in at the hotel in Dong Van Town.

7:00 PM: Have dinner and enjoy the nightlife of the local people.

Day 3: Dong Van - Hanoi

If you are here on a Sunday, you can discover the very exciting and colorful Dong Van Market, where people from a dozen ethnic tribes living in the surrounding areas, dressed in their traditional clothing, come to sell their goods.

After breakfast, continue your journey to the Dong Van UNESCO Global Geopark and enjoy the fresh atmosphere.

On the way, visit the H'Mong King's Palace. This is one of the most special cultural and historical monuments in Dong Van, reflecting the history of the Vietnam War and the life of the local ethnic people.

12:00 PM: Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch. Then, continue trekking with the guide, experiencing the breathtaking natural scenery, visiting centuries-old villages, and exploring the traditional houses of the Tay ethnic minority.

3:30 PM: Return to Hanoi.

10:30–11:00 PM: Arrive back in Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi - Halong Bay full day

7:30–8:30 AM: Pick up from your hotel/accommodation in Hanoi Old Quarter and depart for Halong Bay.

12:00–12:30 PM: You will be welcomed aboard the day cruise. Lunch will be prepared and served on board by the crew. While you enjoy lunch, the captain will cruise around some of the most beautiful islets among the thousands of limestone islands in Halong Bay, such as Dog Islet, Incense Burner Islet, and Fighting Cock Islet.

One of the stops during the 4-hour cruise is Dong Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace Cave), located on a remote island in the bay. As its name suggests, the cave is adorned with magnificent stalactites and stalagmites, along with colorful lights that transform the cave into a fairytale palace.

Another activity you can enjoy during the cruise is a stop at Ba Hang Area, where you can choose to take a bamboo boat ride or go kayaking (optional) for approximately 40 minutes and experience the beauty of the bay up close.

4:00 PM: Return to the harbor. On the way back, we will make a short stop so you have a chance to use the restroom or have a drink.

Around 8:30 PM: Say goodbye to you at your hotel/accommodation.
