    For almost of our tours, once tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:

    • More than 30 days before arrival: No charge
    • 15-30 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
    • 7-15 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
    • 4-7 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
    • Within 3 days before arrival: 100% tour price.

    • There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations.

Itineraries

Day 1: Hanoi - Ha Giang

Option 1: Departures on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings

19:30–19:45: Pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi and departure for Ha Giang by sleeper bus.

You will arrive between 3:00 am and 4:00 am the following day. You will check in to a homestay and have a short rest until the morning.

After breakfast, you will begin trekking through terraced rice fields for about 1.5 hours.

We will visit some villages to get a taste of authentic rural life. You can experience the culture and customs of the Tay people in these villages.

You will be welcomed by a hospitable Tay family who will offer overnight accommodation in their stilt house. Although the accommodation provides only basic comforts, you will find the stay an unforgettable experience.

Option 2: Departures on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings

6:00–6:30: Pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi and departure for Ha Giang by bus. You will have a short break along the way, with opportunities to take photos.

Join the Ha Giang 2-day, 1-night itinerary, traveling by sleeper bus.

12:30–13:00: Have lunch with a local Tay family.

After lunch, you will begin trekking through terraced rice fields. We will visit some villages where the Tay ethnic minority lives. You can see their traditional stilt houses and have a chance to talk with local people about their daily lives.

After trekking through several villages and enjoying the breathtaking natural scenery, you will be welcomed by a hospitable Tay family who will offer overnight accommodation in their stilt house. Although the accommodation provides only basic comforts, you will find the stay an unforgettable experience.

19:00: Enjoy a memorable dinner with a local Tay family.

Overnight stay at a homestay in Thon Tha Village.

Day 2: Thon Tha - Khuoi My - Hanoi

8:00: After breakfast, the trek begins through a green valley and up the mountain connecting Thon Tha and Khuoi My villages. It is a fairly challenging mountain trek, but it is peaceful and very memorable.

Today promises to be an unforgettable trekking experience, as Khuoi My Village is home to more than 62 Dao Ao Dai ethnic minority households located on the mountaintop. Here, unique, unspoiled nature blends with the traditional way of life of the local people.

12:00: Take a break for a delicious picnic lunch near the terraced rice fields. Then, continue trekking through the beautiful palm forest, discovering tranquil mountains and charming villages in this almost untouched area.

15:30: Depart for Hanoi.

22:30–23:00: Arrive back in Hanoi. The tour ends.
