Discover a few of the impressive waterfalls on the fertile Bolaven Plateau – Laos’ premier coffee-growing region. During colonial times the Bolaven Plateau was populated by French settlers who were attracted to the cooler climate and fertile soils which created ideal coffee-growing conditions. Today, Lao coffee beans fetch some of the highest prices in the world, and are a source of income for the hilltribes living on the plateau. Visit a small-scale Fair Trade organic coffee farm to sample a freshly brewed Arabica and Robusta coffee. Situated in a forest-setting, Tad Lo Lodge is nestled next to a stream and small waterfall where you may get a glimpse of a small herd of elephants bathing.

Whilst traveling in Laos one must go to Bolaven. Whether you're a coffee lover, tea fanatic or just simply love seeing waterfalls the Bolaven Plateau Loop is the thing to do. Hire a motorbike and scoot around on the asphalted roads of the Bolaven Plateau. Get some good coffee along the way and enjoy the scenery which comes in the form of various waterfalls including a really big one! Laos Coffee is the best by the way. For starters, to get away to a small island in the middle of the Mekong is very romantic. Done Daeng Island is a magical place. Worth it.

Nature is beautiful and intriguing, we visited the most beautiful islands in the area by boat, the scenery was romantic with clear water. We also had good lunches and stays. We stopped a small island and watched the sunset here, it's breathtaking and unforgetable.

The seven-day tour of all South Laos is unexpectedly amazing. Our guide and driver are excellent and very knowledgeable. Before choosing this tour, we considered a lot of other cheaper tours, but thanks to the good reviews on the website, the affordable prices and upscale hotels, we finally booked it. This is our second trip to Laos. We appreciate it!!!

Wonderful!!! I have expanded my horizon so much after the tour. Very useful and meaningful, especially with city people like me. The tour guide spoke English very well, we had interesting knowledge about the culture of Laos.
