Duong Lam is the sign of a Vietnamese village. Here still remains pretty traditional style houses, traditional lifestyle. In case you wanna understand about Vietnam before you need to go to this particular school. Today there's a great deal of tourism service to deliver visitors though it is not really adequate professional. This place is ideal for ppl who love to explore old things

This was a nice experience to go to a village way outside the normal city limits. Here you can experience what modern day village living is, with a view to how things were in the past. We were able to visit the Pagoda and Temple, which was in the process of being decorated by local nuns and helpers, with flowers and tributes. from there wandering through the streets to the original communal house, where local people still would use the area to spread their corn or grain, or chillis to dry in the blistering sun. Further wandering around the small local streets you could see the kind of accomodation enjoyed by the locals and eventually you can see buildings restored under a UNESCO scheme in 2013 one of which was a family residence of 300 years, that had been in the same family for multiple generations. It was at this place that we stopped for a very nice lunch. The ambience in the house and accompanying buildings was one of peace and tranquility. On exiting we were able to go through one of the old fortress gates as we made our way back to Hanoi.
