Itineraries
- Day 1: Morning arrival in Phnom Penh
-
Upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel to drop off your luggage. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, embark on a Phnom Penh city tour. Visit the Victory Monument and the National Museum, also known as the Musée des Beaux-Arts. Designed in the Khmer style by French archaeologist and painter Georges Groslier in 1917, the museum houses a collection of Khmer art, notably sculptures, from different periods.
Continue to the Royal Palace, built by the French in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is named after its floor, which is made up of 5,000 silver tiles. Its treasures include a solid gold Buddha weighing 90 kilograms and encrusted with precious stones, as well as a small 17th-century Buddha made of emerald and Baccarat crystal.
End the afternoon with a visit to Wat Phnom Temple, after which Phnom Penh is named. From here, enjoy views of the city's tree-lined avenues at sunset.
Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and spend the night at your hotel in Phnom Penh.

- Day 2: Phnom Penh - City tour
-
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the “Killing Fields” of Choeung Ek, located 16 km south of Phnom Penh. Between 1975 and 1978, approximately 17,000 men, women, children, and infants, including nine Westerners, were detained and tortured at S-21 prison before being transported to the extermination camp at Choeung Ek. Many were bludgeoned to death to avoid wasting precious bullets. Fragments of human bones and pieces of clothing remain scattered around the disinterred pits. More than 8,000 skulls, arranged by sex and age, are displayed behind the clear glass panels of the Memorial Stupa, erected in 1988.
Return to Phnom Penh and visit the notorious Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, formerly known as S-21 prison. This former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces and became one of the main centers of detention and torture during the brutal rule of the Khmer Rouge.
Next, visit the Russian Market (Psar Tuol Tum Pong), a lively outdoor market where you can find antiques, silver and gold jewelry, gemstones, silk, krama scarves, stone and wood carvings, T-shirts, CDs, and other souvenirs.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, explore Phnom Penh by cyclo, discovering its beautiful colonial architecture and tracing the city's architectural evolution from the colonial period to the post-independence era. Cyclos are human-powered rickshaws operated by drivers from some of the city's poorest urban communities. By choosing this mode of transport, you help provide an income for the drivers. The Cyclo Center also offers drivers access to basic medical care and livelihood support.
Then, enjoy a one-hour private sunset cruise on the Mekong River at its confluence with other rivers.

- Day 3: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap
-
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Phnom Penh International Airport for your departure flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, transfer directly to the Angkor temple complex.
Visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom, dating back to the 12th century. Explore the South Gate, with its impressive carvings depicting the Churning of the Ocean of Milk, and Bayon Temple, renowned for its 54 towers decorated with more than 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara. Continue to the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King, and Ta Prohm.
One of the most beautiful temples in the area, Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since its discovery, retaining much of its mystery. Its appeal lies in the way it has been reclaimed by the jungle, making it look much as many Angkor monuments might have appeared when European explorers first encountered them.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit the most famous temple on the Angkor plain: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers feature prominently on the Cambodian flag, and this 12th-century masterpiece is considered by art historians a prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. The five towers symbolize the five peaks of Mount Meru, the enclosing wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world, and the surrounding moat symbolizes the ocean beyond.
Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant accompanied by an Apsara dance show. Overnight at a hotel in Siem Reap.

- Day 4: Siem Reap - Temple Tour
-
After breakfast at the hotel, continue your temple visits. Explore Prasat Kravan, known for its unique brick sculptures; the “Mountain Temple” of Pre Rup; Eastern Mebon; Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake; and Preah Khan.
Built by King Jayavarman VII, Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a complex of towered enclosures and narrow corridors. Unlike Ta Prohm, however, Preah Khan is in a relatively good state of preservation, and ongoing restoration efforts are expected to maintain and further improve its condition.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda, and Ta Som Temple. In the evening, enjoy the sunset from Phnom Bakheng, one of the two hills overlooking the Angkor plain, offering spectacular views of the Western Baray and Angkor Wat.

After breakfast at the hotel, drive through the typical Khmer countryside to the sacred Phnom Kulen Mountain Range. Walk for approximately 45 minutes through the forest to reach Kbal Spean, known as the “River of a Thousand Lingas.” Discover sculptures dating from the 10th to the 12th century, carved into the rocky riverbed, as well as the Royal Bath and the waterfall.
Continue to Banteay Srei Temple, dating from the 10th century and regarded as the jewel in the crown of classical Khmer art. This enchanting temple is a favorite among visitors. Its special charm lies in its remarkable state of preservation, compact size, and exquisite decoration.
Enjoy a picnic lunch near the site.
Then continue to Banteay Samre, built in the third quarter of the 12th century. The complex consists of a central temple with four wings, preceded by a hall and accompanied by two libraries, the southernmost of which is remarkably well preserved. Two concentric walls enclose the entire complex.
After the visit, return to the hotel. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and spend the night at a hotel in Siem Reap.
