Yangon - Kyaikhtiyoe - Hpa An 5 days/ 4 nights

After breakfast, drive to Bago (84 km, approximately 1½ hours), an ancient Mon capital known as Hansavati. Stop en route at the Allied War Graves Cemetery near Htauk Kyant.

Upon arrival in Bago, visit the four giant Buddha images at Kyaukpun Pagoda, built in the 15th century by King Dhammazedi. The pagoda is famous for its fascinating history and four giant seated Buddha images positioned back-to-back. Continue to Shwetharhlaung Pagoda, home to a giant reclining Buddha with a history spanning over 1,000 years, and Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Myanmar's tallest pagoda at 114 meters. Visit a cheroot factory before continuing to one of Myanmar's most iconic landmarks, Kyaikhtiyo, also known as the Golden Rock. This huge boulder, completely covered in gold leaf, is delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff and holds great religious significance.

From Kin Pun, take a truck along a steep 11 km road to the upper staging point. From there, continue on foot for approximately 4 km (about 1 hour) along a steep path, ascending around 500 meters to the Golden Rock Pagoda. Upon arrival, enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding jungle and a beautiful sunset.

After breakfast, walk down to Rathedaung (transit camp), then take a truck down to the base camp. Continue to Mawlamyine (170 km, approximately 4 hours).

Upon arrival in Mawlamyine, check in at a hotel on Strand Road, surrounded by historic colonial-era buildings. In the afternoon, visit Zeygyi Market, the city's central market; Mahamuni Pagoda, a major religious site in Myanmar; and Sein Done Mibaya Kyaung, where one of King Mindon's queens sought refuge. End the day by enjoying the sunset at Kyaikthanlan Pagoda.

After breakfast, drive to Kyaikami (82 km, approximately 2 hours). En route, pass through the area of Kyauktalone between Mawlamyine and Kyaikami, where a Buddhist stupa and a Hindu temple face each other, and visit the huge reclining Buddha image.

Continue to Mudon to see another enormous reclining Buddha. Then proceed to Thanbyuzayat to visit the cemetery associated with the notorious Death Railway of World War II, which contains more than 3,000 graves of Allied prisoners of war who labored on the railway connecting Thailand and Myanmar.

Afterwards, continue to Kyaikami to visit Kyaikami Yele Pagoda, a pagoda situated amid the waters. Finally, return to Mawlamyine.

After breakfast, drive to Kyaik Ma Yaw and visit Kyaikmayaw Pagoda. Then, drive to Hpa-An (approximately 1½ hours), the capital of Kayin State.

En route, visit Kawgoon Cave, where images and wall carvings can be seen inside, and Payon Cave, famous for its countless Buddha images, stalagmites, and stalactites.

Upon arrival in Hpa-An, check in at the hotel. Later, visit Mount Zwekabin, a popular attraction for nature lovers. Hike to the hilltop along a steep, narrow, winding path. Enjoy the cool mountain air, peaceful surroundings, and panoramic views.

After breakfast, visit the local market, then proceed to Shweyinhmyaw Pagoda, located on the banks of the Thanlwin River. Afterwards, depart for Yangon. En route, explore a network of limestone caves stretching through the mountain range and opening onto a picturesque lake.
