  • Cancellation by Customer

    For almost of our tours, once tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:

    • More than 30 days before arrival: No charge
    • 15-30 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
    • 7-15 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
    • 4-7 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
    • Within 3 days before arrival: 100% tour price.

    Notes:

    • There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations.
    • For no show cases, there will be no refund.
    • All cancellations must be in person or in writing and received by us.
  • Cancellation by Weather

    In case of an unexpected situation/ bad weather causing an effect on your trip after commencement, we serve the right to change the itinerary of your booked tour for the safety of all clients in the group. If there is more than one solution, we will ask for your permission and agreement to do the next step. In such kind of cancellation, the refund of any payment on the unused portion of transportation service, hotel service, car rental, or tours will be given.

    • Under 4 years: Free of Charge.
    • From 4 to 8 years old: 50% of adult’s fare and sharing bed with parents.
    • From 9 to 11 years old: 75% of adult’s fare and using an existing bed.
    • Students with ID student card: 95% of adult’s fare and using the existing bed.
    • Over 11 years old: 100% of adult’s fare and using the existing bed.

Itineraries

Day 1: Hanoi - Hon Gai harbor - Bai Tu Long Bay - Cap La island - Cong Do

07.45–08.30: The optional Swan shuttle bus will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and head towards northeastern Vietnam. Midway through the journey, we will make a short stop to stretch your legs and freshen up before continuing to Halong Bay.

12.00: Arrive at the Swan office in Ha Long, where you will have some time to relax before transferring to Swan Cruises by tender.

12.45: Enjoy a welcome drink, receive a safety briefing and information about the activities included on board, and then check in to your cabin.

13.30: Enjoy lunch while leisurely cruising towards the heart of Bai Tu Long Bay.

15.30: Arrive at Cap La Island, a beautiful area in Bai Tu Long Bay. Enjoy kayaking among the limestone karsts, admire the breathtaking natural scenery, and relax on the beaches.

(Swimming activities are subject to permission from the Halong Bay Management Authority.)

17.30: Return to the boat and enjoy sunset time with tea and fresh fruits. This is also “Happy Hour” as the cruise sails towards its overnight anchorage. In addition, our guide will organize a cooking class, giving you the opportunity to prepare Vietnamese cuisine yourself.

19.00: Enjoy dinner in the dining room on board.

20.30: Enjoy your free time playing games or try your luck at squid fishing. If you would like to sing karaoke, please inform our tour guide for assistance.

Overnight on Swan Cruise in the Cong Do area.

Day 2: Bai Tu Long Bay - Vung Vieng Floating Village or Bai Tu Long National Park

06.30: Start your day with Tai Chi on the top deck and enjoy the bay’s morning scenery.

07.00: Enjoy breakfast in the open air. (Tea and coffee are complimentary.)

08.30: Transfer to the day boat and begin cruising to admire the stunning beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay.

Attention: Due to weather conditions and tide levels, the itinerary may be adjusted flexibly. One of the following two options will be followed. Our tour guide will inform you of the exact itinerary during the tour.

Option 1:

09.30: Start cruising towards Cong Dam while discovering the geological values of Bai Tu Long Bay.

09.45–11.30: Arrive at Hon Co Island for swimming or relaxing.

12.00–13.30: Enjoy a BBQ lunch on the beach (subject to availability and weather conditions).

14.00: Enjoy kayaking through the hidden lagoons and exploring the geological park in Cong Dam.

16.30: Return to the main boat and enjoy sunset time with tea and fresh fruits. This is also “Happy Hour,” featuring a “buy one, get one free” offer as the cruise sails towards its overnight anchorage. In addition, our guide will organize a cooking class, giving you the opportunity to prepare Vietnamese cuisine yourself.

19.00: Dinner will be served in the dining room.

20.30: Enjoy your free time playing games or try your luck at squid fishing. If you would like to sing karaoke, please inform our tour guide for assistance.

Option 2:

09.30: Enjoy a day of fun and relaxation with more kayaking to discover Bai Tu Long Bay. You will also have a great opportunity to go fishing with local fishermen.

11.45: Return to the boat for a delicious hot lunch while the cruise sails towards Vung Vieng Floating Fishing Village.

14.00: Take a rowing boat to explore Vung Vieng Village and learn how pearls are cultivated.

16.30: Return to the main boat and enjoy sunset time with tea and fresh fruits. This is also “Happy Hour,” featuring a “buy one, get one free” offer as the cruise sails towards its overnight anchorage. In addition, our guide will organize a cooking class, giving you the opportunity to prepare Vietnamese cuisine yourself.

19.00: Dinner will be served in the dining room.

Day 3: Tra San - Thien Canh Son Cave - Hon Gai Harbor - Hanoi

06.30: Start your day with Tai Chi on the sundeck and enjoy the bay’s early morning scenery.

07.00: Have breakfast on board (tea and coffee are complimentary).

07.45: Explore Thien Canh Son Cave. Our tour guide will explain the history of Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay, as well as the story of this cave, formed by Mother Nature.

08.45: Return to the main boat.

09.30: Finish packing and check out of your cabin.

(Please remove all your belongings from your cabin. You may leave heavy luggage outside the cabin, and our staff will help transfer it directly to the pier.)

10.00: Join the fruit-carving activity and show off your creativity.

10.45: Enjoy lunch while the cruise returns to Hon Gai Harbor.

12.00: Return to the harbor and disembark at Hon Gai Pier.

12.30: Say farewell to Halong Bay, then our bus will take you back to Hanoi.

17.30: End of your 2-day, 1-night trip on Swan Cruises.

The staff At first the cruise was cramped and the water pressure was a little sad, but the staff were friendly and the programs on the cruise were so fun.
