For almost of our tours, once tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:
- More than 30 days before arrival: No charge
- 15-30 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
- 7-15 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
- 4-7 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
- Within 3 days before arrival: 100% tour price.
Notes:
- There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations.
- For no show cases, there will be no refund.

Itineraries
- Day 1: Hanoi city tour

Your tour guide and driver will pick you up at 8:00 AM and transfer you to visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday mornings and throughout October), the One-Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda, and the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature, followed by Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. At the end of the day, enjoy a cyclo ride around Hanoi’s Old Quarter before being dropped off at your hotel.

- Day 2: Hanoi - Halong

07:45–08:30 AM: Our English-speaking guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and transfer you to Halong Bay.
12:15 PM: Arrive at Tuan Chau Pier. Check in and board the cruise. Enjoy a delicious set-menu lunch on board.
After lunch, relax on the sundeck. As the afternoon light softens, hundreds of islands of different shapes will amaze you with their natural beauty. Afternoon activities may include visiting one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay, exploring a floating village by bamboo boat, and visiting a lagoon for kayaking, swimming, or simply relaxing on the sundeck.
05:00–05:30 PM: Return to the pier and board the bus back to Hanoi.
08:00 PM: Arrive back at your hotel in Hanoi. End of the tour.

- Day 3: Hanoi - Ninh Binh

Your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel at around 7:30–8:00 AM. Then, travel comfortably to Ninh Binh via the expressway from Hanoi, saving time on the journey.
The first stop is Tam Coc town, where you will explore the local area by bicycle, with three stops along the way: Bich Dong Pagoda, an ancient pagoda nestled in a mountain cave; Dam Khe local village, where you can gain a vivid insight into local life; and Co Vien Lau, an outdoor museum.
Around 12:15 PM: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. You will have the chance to sample Ninh Binh’s specialties, including goat meat served with fresh herbs. After lunch and a short rest, enjoy a nearly two-hour boat trip along the Tam Coc waterways in a traditional hand-rowed boat.
3:00 PM: Leave Tam Coc and head to the historic area of Trang An–Hoa Lu, the site of the ancient capital of Dai Co Viet, the predecessor of modern-day Vietnam. Here, visit the temples of King Dinh and King Le, who ruled during the early period of Vietnam’s history. After exploring Hoa Lu, continue to Bamboo Homestay, where you can relax and enjoy drinks while watching the sunset.
5:00 PM: Depart Ninh Binh and return to Hanoi via the expressway.
6:30–7:00 PM: Arrive back at your hotel. End of services.

The scenery and tour down the river were amazing and well worth doing. Just be warned that at the end there is a little floating market where you are expected to buy drinks. Once brought you will find the prices have been inflated 1000% so be strong and say no. Also your tour guide will ask for a tip before he gets you back. Again be strong and tell him/her that you will tip at the end. Otherwise if they are unhappy with the amount they won’t take you back ashore. But please don’t let this put you off. The scenery is well worth it.
